Beautiful! I can’t wait to read it!
Accurate portrayal FTW!
Looking good. Do you get input on the covers?
Tidal waves? The sea being parted? I smell EPIC.
By which I mean I smell EPICNESS, not that my personal smell is epic. That would just be boasting.
*sigh* How beautifully EPIC. I can’t wait to see this on my bookshelf! :D
Tobias,
Yes, some, although the design/theme of the covers is wholly Orbit’s and the artist’s (Cliff Nielsen) doing. Basically they show it to me when it’s close to done, I go “OOOOO!!” because it looks so kickass, and then they do stuff to make it even better in the final version. :)
Quinn,
It’s the sea being parted. ‘Cause, y’know, Moses did stuff with style. As for your smell… I wasn’t gonna go there. :)
That is a beautiful cover. I’m thrilled and I can’t wait to read it.
Gorgeous! And ooh, the blurb… Can’t wait!
I am intrigued by the fact that the background face has only one eye. What’s the story there,, huh?!
Also, can’t wait!
rachel,
Same reason Nahadoth has only one eye on the first book’s cover — artistic license. :)
WOOT!
You’ve really lucked out with the cover art on this series; they’ve all been gorgeous and related to the story. It ought to always be that way, but but sometimes first-time authors end up with whatever art’s laying around. Not this, though. This is spectacular.
Looks great :D
Can not wait! Love it!
Oooh. Gorgeous.
Very beautiful! :)
