Ten Epic Fantasy Themes We Don’t See Enough

I have a phenomenal agent. Here’s how phenomenal she is: as if she wasn’t busy enough, she’s running Epic Fantasy Week (actually 2 weeks) on her blog! And she asked me to provide a post, which I did, here. Go check it out! And be sure to backtrack to catch posts by Lynn Flewelling, Carol Berg, and more!

  1. I read your comments on Luciennes blog (I love reading her blog!) and I loved what you have to say (and yes I care what you have to say!). Many of your points go hand in hand with things I and my co-author have discussed on our blog. Your upcoming novel sounds great and I look forward to reading your stuff!

My friend “Speed Reader” and I have our own blog about authors (www.myfavoriteauthor.blogspot.com) and I was wondering if you’d be willing to do a q&a for us and/or have us do a book review for you closer to when your novel is coming out. We already have 10 new authors being published in 2009 scheduled and some ARCs headed our way and your work sounds like it is something we would love to showcase on our blog!

Again thank you for your thoughts! I look forward to reading more from you in the future.

  2. Hi Aubrey — wow, for some reason your comment went into the spambin. ::gives Akismet a glare:: Glad I fished it out before I purged everything.

Anyway, sure, I’d be interested in doing a Q&A or review. The book won’t be out for a year, and I have no idea whether I’ll have any power to dictate where ARCs get sent, but the Q&A is definitely doable, now or later. What did you have in mind?

Going to cc this to your email.
