		<description>Wow.  This is truly the best steampunk I&#039;ve read in quite a while.  You really capture historic New Orleans well, its complicated racial divisions and class relations and its ties to Haiti.  It&#039;s rare to read something that seems to actually reflect the rich, complex history of Louisiana--even if it&#039;s an alternate history.

I&#039;d love to read more from this universe, and about these amazing characters. And don&#039;t worry--I donated last year to Yele and PIH, and plan to do so this year as well.</description>

		<description>That was awesome! Thank you for writing a story (a steampunk story, no less, love the genre) with queer women of colour. I&#039;ve but just been made aware of its existence and I shall give to Doctors Without Borders as a thank you. I&#039;m not sure about the end - giving up work for domestic life and the last sentence especially, as I think Jessaline enjoyed her work and I&#039;m not too fond of the dismissal of it all as pointless compared to romance. Apart from that, the rest was absolutely brilliant, thank you so much for writing it :)</description>
